The modular pallet box made from cardboard frames

The base/lid element, top frame and connectors come together to create a flexible cardboard system that provides secure storage and transportation.

PRECISELY FITTING PALLET BOX
Assembled in just a few simple steps

How to assemble a FLEXABOX® pallet container: First, place the base/lid element on the pallet. Then place the first pallet frame on top of it. Attach the connectors at the corners and along the long edges. Next, stack another frame at the desired height and connect it to the one below. The pallet frames are available in three heights and can be combined as desired. Finally, place the lid on top. The FLEXABOX® system is unique and patented.

FLEXABOX® pallet containers are

flexible

Each pallet box can be adapted to suit your warehouse logistics needs. With extension frames and connectors, you can build to the exact height you require. This ensures that you don't use any more packaging than is necessary. The base area depends on your pallets.

stackable

The pallet collars are extremely robust and stackable, with a BCT test result of 2.1 tonnes static and 600 kg dynamic. They remain dimensionally stable even when fully loaded. This ensures that goods are optimally protected during shipping, transport and storage.

space-saving

Rather than using multiple pallet containers of different sizes, you only need one system: pallet frames of various heights, bases and lids, and connectors. This will save you valuable warehouse space and reduce costs.

simple

A FLEXABOX® pallet container can be assembled by one person in just a few seconds. Simply place the base, stack and connect the frames, and you're done! No tools or complicated instructions are required.

ergonomic

The pallet collars are made of lightweight corrugated cardboard, making them easy to move. Compared to other systems, the FLEXABOX® offers employees maximum convenience and increased safety.

sustainable

Instead of disposable cartons, we use reusable packaging elements. This reduces waste and conserves resources. This optimises your processes and improves your environmental footprint.

The pallet container that grows with your needs

The patented FLEXABOX® demonstrates its full strength during the filling process. First, the base/lid element is placed on the pallet, followed by a low pallet frame. This allows loading to begin without a high edge, which makes it easier and more ergonomic for the user. If the goods protrude beyond the frame, connectors are attached around the perimeter and another pallet frame is placed on top. This means that the pallet container can simply grow with the load while remaining extremely stable (BCT test: 2.1 t static and 600 kg dynamic).

Are your pallet boxes already as
flexible as your requirements?

No, not yet.

This is how you assemble a pallet box from FLEXABOX®

The FLEXABOX® system consists of three elements: corrugated cardboard pallet frames in various heights; connectors; and a base/lid element to suit your pallet size. These elements can be combined to create pallet boxes of exactly the right height for shipping, transport and warehouse logistics.

Pallet frame

The pallet frames, also known as pallet attachments or attachment frames, are at the heart of the FLEXABOX®. Made of robust triple-wall corrugated cardboard, they are particularly stable and stackable (BCT test: 2.1 tonnes static and 600 kg dynamic), yet significantly lighter and more sustainable than wooden or plastic alternatives.

The stacking frames are available in three standard heights: 530 mm, 330 mm and 265 mm. This allows you to build the right pallet container for your requirements in almost every case. Custom heights are also available on request.

The base area depends on your pallets.

Connectors

The connectors transform individual attachment frames into robust pallet boxes. Small teeth grip the cardboard of the frames securely when they are plugged together. The slightly funnel-shaped sides make it easy for one person to attach another frame.

The connectors can be bent through 90 degrees in one direction without breaking. This means that only one connector is needed for corners and edges. However, if they are deliberately bent in the opposite direction, the connectors break and split into two smaller pieces.

Base/lid element

The base and lid elements close off the FLEXABOX® at the top and bottom. When used as a base, it provides stability and shape to the entire box on the pallet. Goods are kept secure and the structure remains firmly in place, even under heavy loads.

When used as a lid, the element closes the pallet container from above, reliably protecting the goods inside. This also makes the box stackable, allowing it to be used efficiently for storage or transport.

The size of the base area depends on your pallets.

Facts about the modular pallet box

Our FAQ section provides answers to the most important questions about the FLEXABOX® flexible cardboard system. Find out how the pallet frames are assembled, what makes them so stable, which areas of shipping, transport and warehouse logistics they are suitable for, and what advantages they offer over conventional pallet containers.

FLEXABOX® is a modular cardboard system for all pallet sizes, allowing you to build the exact pallet container you need. A FLEXABOX® comprises pallet collars made of robust corrugated cardboard, connectors and base and lid elements. These components can be combined to create a wide variety of pallet boxes that can be flexibly adapted to different goods and requirements in transport and warehouse logistics.

Traditional pallet collars are typically made from wood or plastic. FLEXABOX® pallet frames, however, are made of sturdy corrugated cardboard, which makes them lighter and more sustainable, as well as easier to handle. They can also be combined in a modular fashion, growing with you as your loads increase in height.

The assembly process is very simple. First, the base/lid element is placed on the pallet. Then, one or more pallet collars are placed on top and secured with connectors. Finally, another base/lid element is placed on top to close the pallet box, which is then ready for shipping, transport or storage. This flexible, modular system can be assembled in just a few simple steps.

The FLEXABOX® is suitable for a wide range of applications, from secure shipping and internal transport to efficient warehouse logistics. Thanks to its modular design, you can assemble pallet containers of different sizes with just a few pallet attachments, eliminating the need to keep many different types of packaging in stock.

The pallet frames are made of triple-wall corrugated cardboard, which makes them highly resilient. They can withstand high forces, are reusable, and reliably protect goods during transport and storage. Despite their stability, the stacking frames are lightweight and therefore easy to handle.

The pallet collars are available in three standard heights: 530 mm, 330 mm and 265 mm. Thanks to their modular design, they can be combined in any way you like, enabling you to expand the pallet box as your needs grow. Special sizes are also available on request, providing a flexible, customised solution for your goods.

Fixed pallet containers and standard pallet boxes are always the same height. With FLEXABOX®, however, you can create modular packaging that can be adapted as your needs change. This saves storage space and reduces costs associated with different packaging sizes, while offering a lightweight, ergonomic and sustainable corrugated cardboard solution.
